In addition to our job shop capabilities, Bachmann Precision is the developer and sole manufacturer of the G.B. Groover pipe grooving line. The G.B. Groover is available in three models to suit your specific pipe grooving needs. All three models may be used as dedicated pipe grooving machines in your facility or may be transported to work sites owing to their portability.
Groover Models A and B are cutting style grooving, cut-off, and bevel machines which may be set up conventionally where the pipe rotates or in the "satellite" method where the Groover follows the circumference of the pipe being cut. The Model A Groover has a pipe capacity of 8 inch through 30 inch. The Model B Groover handles pipe 1 inch through 12 inch.
The Model 250 Groover is a roll grooving machine which has a pipe capacity of 2 inch through 12 inch. Roll grooving does not employ cutting action but instead displaces material by pressure to create a groove. |
